We teach Ensemble Group Lessons which include Choral, Band, and Orchestral Ensembles.

PSSM is proud to present our new Ensemble Program. This includes Choral, Band, and Orchestral Ensembles. Although private lessons provide the most direct attention for the student, and usually gives the student the most potential for fast progress; private lessons do not teach the student how to play in a group setting with other musicians. There is a world of difference between playing solo and playing in a group. This new Ensemble Program will provide a more social learning experience, all the while teaching students how to play in cooperation with one another.

The Ensemble Groups will have 5 to 20 students in each group. The students of each group will be of similar age. Given enough participation and progress, the groups will not only have special recitals, but will also take part in performing outside of the school. Students will have opportunities to simultaneously perform and do community service, all the while gaining valuable performance experience.

There is a $50 registration fee that will cover books and processing. The tuition is $49 a month per student. The registration fee is waived if the student takes private lessons at PSSM. The classes will be held for an hour, once a week, every week.

The Ensemble Groups will cover a variety of instruments.

• Orchestra/Band - All Instruments
• Orchestra - Strings and woodwinds, guitar and piano
• Band - Brass, woodwinds, percussions, guitar and piano
• Choral - voice

The Classes will be divided by age.

• Preschool - Choral Only
• Grades K-2 - Choral Only
• Grades 3-5 - All Ensembles
• Grades 6-8 - All Ensembles 
• Grades 9-12 - All Ensembles
