All of our instructors are classically trained pianists, some specialize in different styles such as jazz, blues, contemporary, gospel, and many more. Most of our instructors teach and/or specialize in a variety of other instruments, whether it is guitar or violin or even drums, we teach it all. Those students who are interested in stringed instruments such as violin, viola, or cello, may also be interested in enrolling to our Orchestra Ensemble or group class. Those students interested in singing, may also be interested in learning voice through our Choral Ensemble or group class. Check out our Semi-Private Group class page and our Ensemble page for more information on those programs.

Most schools offer band and strings programs afterschool. The problem with these programs is that there is typically one or two instructors teaching a group of anywhere between 20 and 60 students. The class will move on its own pace which would slow down and holdback the most skilled students of the class and will rush the slower paced students who are having difficulty with the material. This is not a proper way to learn music. Private lessons move at the pace of the student. The teacher-student ratio in a private class is 1 to 1 versus 20:1 or even 60:1 in some schools. This ensures that students in private lessons speed through material that is easy for them and slow down and workout the more difficult material. We can safely say that each lesson is custom tailored to fit the needs of the students, whether they are looking to audition for a play, get a college scholarship, find their way to a recording contract, or just want to learn how to play better, we can help. With various woodwind instructors covering a multitude of instruments such as saxophone, clarinet, flute, etc., and our brass and percussion instructors covering various instruments such as trumpet, trombone, tuba, French horn, drums, etc., we teach all instruments accepted in band as well as strings. For the singers, our vocal instructors have helped students get into Broadway shows, AllState, recording contracts, full music scholarships, and much more. Whether singers are looking for more confidence in their voice for fun activities like Karaoke and Open Mic, or want to strengthen their voice for chorus or auditions, our vocal coaches are top of the line and can help you get there.

These private lessons range from 30minute lessons once a week, to 45minute and 60minute lessons once a week. We also offer 60minute lessons every other week (or twice a month) for those students with busier schedules. We have over 45 instructors teaching almost every instrument you could want to play, contact us to book your schedule today!

Instruction/Fees for Private Instruction:

Monthly tuition is $132 for a standard session of 30 minutes weekly or 60 minutes every other week ($198 monthly tuition for a standard session 45 minutes weekly, $264 monthly tuition for a standard session of 60 minutes weekly.)

Discounted rates (30 min weekly - $118, 45 min weekly - $177, 60 min weekly $236) for monthly fees that are prepaid by auto debit of credit card on the 28th day of each month for the following month of sessions.

We do require a monthly notice in writing for discontinuation or suspension of lessons which is standard in this business. There is a one time registration fee of $50. We have a lot of activities at no charge: recitals every three months, jam sessions, open mic event, karaoke event, master classes, and a festival in the summer where the student can earn a trophy or at least a certificate. For the intermediate to advanced student, we have a scholarship exam program. We are also members of the Piano Guild, National Federation of Music Clubs, and NATS - National Association of Teachers of Singing, if you are interested in participating in those programs. If you need to cancel a session and want a makeup, we require one week's notice and the makeup is good for three months (you simply sign up for a makeup with the teacher.) Makeup sessions are not honored if a student quits. If needed, we offer our recording studio to our students and teachers at a reasonable price. We have a high success rate in the achievements of our students and look forward to working with students who have a desire to learn.

For students under the age of 10 (wanting instruction in instruments other than piano/keyboard) we require that they take piano/keyboard with their choice of instrument (15 minutes or more of each.) The piano/keyboard instruction teaches sight-reading, music theory, and helps with attention span. Once the student is 10 years of age or at an intermediate level, the student can increase session time or choose preferred instrument.
